Johan Geenens & Hans Beckers

Voor Sottobosco gaat hij in dialoog met multimediakunstenaar Hans Beckers. Zijn werk focust vooral op geluid, installaties, muziek en performances, maar hij maakt ook tekeningen, etsen en composities voor theater, video en performances.
In zijn installaties en performances – tussen compositie en improvisatie in – zoekt Beckers de balans op tussen muziek en beeldende kunsten. Gebruik makend van zelfgemaakte instrumenten, toont hij aan dat objecten die over het algemeen niet geschikt worden geacht om mee te musiceren toch muziekinstrumenten kunnen worden.

The Wild Classical Music Ensemble Wild Classic Music Ensemble (een vrije punkrock-noise band) speelde in verschillende Europese landen (België, Frankrijk, Duitsland, Nederland, Spanje en Zwitserland) en deelde het podium met een groot aantal muzikanten, waaronder Frustration, Sages comme des sauvages, Snapped Ankles en Lee Ranaldo, met wie de band in 2022 een album opnam.
